In order to be an astronomer Luc had to get used to a nomadic lifestyle. In fact, to observe the sky in the best conditions of visibility it was necessary to travel a lot and also to compare with colleagues the best way was to attend conferences and meetings. To study and know the universe, at the same time he explored his planet, immersing himself in different cultures and traditions, broadening his horizons to better embrace the celestial horizon.

Per poter far l'astronomo Luc dovette abituarsi ad uno stile di vita nomade. Infatti per osservare il cielo nelle migliori condizioni di visibilità era necessario viaggiare molto e anche per confrontarsi con i colleghi il modo migliore era partecipare a conferenze e convegni. Per studiare e conoscere l'universo, al contempo esplorava anche il suo pianeta, immergendosi nelle diverse culture e tradizioni, ampliando i propri orizzonti per meglio abbracciare l'orizzonte celeste.
