Gilda was an inflexible old-fashioned secretary, totally dedicated to the job and to doing it as efficiently as possible. In the early days her new boss was pleased with these skills, but in the long run the relationship seemed to get out of hand. He had more time to devote to the secretary than he had to devote to doing his own work.

Gilda era un'inflessibile segretaria vecchio stile, totalmente dedicata al lavoro e a svolgerlo nella maniera più efficiente possibile. Il suo nuovo capo nei primi tempi si era compiaciuto di tali doti, ma con il lungo andare il rapporto gli sembrò sfuggirli di mano. Era più il tempo che doveva dedicare alla segretaria che quello a disposizione per fare il suo lavoro in autonomia.
