Barbara knew that the scientific explanation for the appearance of the rainbow was all fiction to keep the children away from the truth. The optical scattering of sunlight that passes through raindrops and is first refracted and then reflected was a fascinating story but only she knew that in reality her father was the creator of rainbows, a rainbow for every magical thought of children.
