One of the benefits of being self-employed and working from home is the flexibility to take long walks at lunch time.

Our libraries reopened for book reservation collections and some computer time, so I’m back to collecting books. But the closest branch was only open about a week before there was a hotspot outbreak. So I get to walk down to Customs House at Circular Quay instead.

What is great is that they extended your borrowing time hugely, so there’s no rush to return them, who am I kidding you always got three renewals of three weeks. It’s just nice not to be getting the renewal reminders, or having to take them back if someone else has a reservation on the book.

It takes about an hour, adding in my morning sunshine walk I got to 11k steps today. Sydney is definitely feeling like spring is coming.
