Hello everyone! Yesterday I wrote a post about parenting. I think, that all people divide human qualities into good and bad, there are also neutral qualities. The only thing I can say is: I don't want my child to grow up selfish. Yes, he should love and respect himself, have pride and dignity, but also he should respect other people. All parents love their children and how can they understand, where the line that divides love and pampering is? In my opinion, this line is very thin. I think, we can pamper our children, but there must be a limit. For example, if my child asks me for something, I do not throw all the cases and do not run to fulfill his request. I calmly ask him to wait until I wash the dishes, undress or wash my hands. I believe, that a child should understand, that he will not get something just because he is asking and wants. A child can want everything at once, he often can not limit his desires, it is difficult for him. But adults should help in this, they should say «no» the child, and not just to prohibit, but explain, why the child at the moment can not get, what he wants. In my opinion, the most important thing is to act consistently: if the mother does not allow the child to eat sweet, for example, then the rest of the family must support this ban, otherwise the child will not understand why the mother does not give him sweets, and the grandmother and grandfather allow him to eat sweets.
