The Bible made me understand that, Jesus gave a commandment to disciples not only to them but to all the believers to love one another as Christ has loved us. It wasn't a suggestion but a command to love unconditionally. When Jesus was on earth, He didn't see the problems, but he saw people, and that love compels Him to love people the more, even with their faults.
He lavishes His love unconditionally, without attaching conditions to it.
This is the same way, the lord has commanded us to love one another.
Many people today love others under the condition of giving, as you know how to do, and you are fluent in English, and how wealthy you are, and many more. This is not the kind of love that Jesus commanded us to love.
Men love women because of their physical endowment, but when those things vanish, love vanishes too.
It was so beautiful how Jesus was in the midst of His disciples and knew the ones who would betray and deny Him.
The Bible says that when Jesus wanted to wash Peter's feet, Peter objected to Jesus's offering to wash his feet. And Jesus said, if you don't allow me to wash your feet, you will not be able to work together. Peter said, " In that case, wash my hands, head, and feet. Here, Jesus knew he was going to deny him before the rooster Crows and it happens.
Jesus still loves him even though he denies Him, he forgave him and took him back again. He didn't reject him. He loved him the more.
This is how Jesus wants us to leave our lives, and our love language shouldn't be attached to things; it should be without strings.
Love is a powerful weapon. It leads men to Christ.
