A view from the top of the hill in Corpus Christi TX. Looking east south east on Park Ave. If you look on the horizon you can see Port Aransas some 14 miles across the bay. It's only in the winter that it's ever clear enough to see so far. Usually we are overburdened with humidity so high you need gills to breathe.
Down the hill and on the sea wall looking across the new million dollar park that has nothing in it but nice grass and mound after mound of fire ants. Such silly foolishness that some progressive people call progress but that's a whole other blog waiting to be written. Frankly it's the biggest boondoggle I've had the pleasure to witness... They ruined the whole vibe but hey we now have acres of public walk space but you better walk quickly or risk 1.21 giga-ants attacking you private parts if you stand still to long and picnicking is out of the question.
