As the song says, some days are diamonds, some stone. Some days are filled with simplicity. Today I was caught off guard by the simple beauty of simple things. Like this seriously oversexed pencil cactus shooting me the peace sign.
I also thought it looked like at little deer head with big long pointy antlers... Nonetheless it caught me off guard and I had a nice brief hello conversation with him and congratulated him of surviving hurricane Harvey months ago.
As I turned the sidewalk of my next job I noted this simple work of yard art that spoke to me saying hi and welcome to our home.
Again, simple, elegant, and no words needed to convey what type of people were inside. Simply lovely.
Starting a new job is always fun because you never know what you're getting in to or what kind of personalities you'll encounter. As for this one the job was simply demolish the front balcony and come back in a few days after the electrician does his thing to rebuild it anew. Simple enough.
Speaking of personalities, there is always some clown hanging around in hopes of stealing a tortilla or a half eaten sandwich laid down for a drink of soda.
Anyways I think this was a simply the simplest post I simply had to write. Did I mention how simple it is to upvote things like this? .... I simply crack myself up.
