But looking at the competition so far, it's difficult to place Brazil among the main favorites.

This was disappointing to me as well but hey! We can't be good all the time! I have been surprised about Curacao and Cape Verde as well, I want to say that Curacao looked really good against Ecauador even though that 7-1 loss to Germany was probably a real eye opener to them.

There's a lot of teams in this tournament that are only there because of the expanded number of teams and there are also teams that are NOT there because of the drafting process that are actually quite a lot better than teams that are there, primarily from Europe and South America.

It's been fun looking at the stats but I am yet to watch an entire game. I will start to do that once we get to the 2nd round of bracket stages.
