Splinterlanes now has a Discord server. Since the last update the Deck Builder has also gained a Bloodline filter, Tactics now show on the Monster that holds them, Talismans can be sorted, and phones no longer start a search on their own.
Splinterlanes is on Discord
Join here: https://discord.gg/7ydQRf8x6f. On the site, the round blue Discord button at the top of every page takes you there too, and the logo sits in the footer.
When you arrive, read the rules and click the green tick under them to unlock the chat. In the server:
- Announcements carries every new blog post as it goes up, plus news. We ping everyone at most once a day, so you can leave notifications on.
- Chat is for talking Decks, Talismans and battles with other players.
- The Splinterlanes bot answers a few commands:
/ladderfor the top ten this Season,/playerfor anyone's Rating and record,/seasonfor when the Season ends,/prizefor the top prize in the pool,/blogfor the newest posts and/playfor getting started.
The blog stays the place for guides, updates and support. Comments here are still the best way to report a bug.
A Bloodline filter in the Deck Builder
A player asked for a way to see every Gnome at once. The Monster grid now has a Bloodline filter that shows only Monsters of one race.
Pick a Bloodline Archon and its race is listed first, under "Your Archons' Bloodlines", with every other race below. The + buttons that fill your Deck follow the filter too, so you can fill the rest of a Deck with one race in a click.
Tactics show on the Monster that holds them
Some Archons give one of your Monsters an ability with their Tactic, like Lorkus's Life Leech. Until now that ability didn't show anywhere on the board. It now appears on the Monster's card, ringed as a buff. When the enemy Archon's Tactic placed it on your Monster, it is ringed as a debuff.
Sort your Talismans
The Talismans page and the Altar now have a sort: newest first, A to Z, or most owned. Your choice is remembered, so a big collection opens the way you like it.
Fixed: surprise searches on phones
On a phone, switching to another app and back after a Ranked or Sealed match could start a new search by itself. Coming back now leaves you on the result screen.
