Bera, River, and Fiafia travel through the tunnels deeper beneath the earth. River mentions a place spoken of only in rumors known as the Realm of Silence. He thinks that this is where the mycelia they fought came from.
Eventually, the tunnel opens into a large cavern. There are mycelia, spore-infected people, imps flying above, a fire elemental, and various races all dressed in dark armor.
Queen Mycelia and Obsidian are also there. They mention that the Chaos Legion has been successful in their invasion, but even Lord Silus has concerns about those who may come to try to stop them.
Bera, River, and Fiafia are spotted, captured, and put in a cage.
Eventually, they escape and use a boat to paddle down an underground river that leads off from the cavern.
The trio decides they need to find allies to fight the Chaos Legion and save Praetoria.
