Introduction
Hello everyone! Lester here! And I am participating in Splinterlands Fan Art Emote Contest Week 2! For this challenge, one of the criteria is that the card should be from Alpha or Beta Edition. So for this entry, I created an emote for Xia Seachan.
Card Reference
Drawing Process
I first used a canvas with a size of 1160x1160. I then created an outline of the face in Step 1. In Step 2, I added flat colors similar to the colors found in the card. And in Step 3, I added shades on her ears.
In Step 4, I added shades to her face and in Steps 5 and 6, I added shades to her head and tongue.
In Step 7, I added shades to her headband and in Step 8, I added shades to her hair. Finally, I added white highlight on the gem in her headband.
Here is the final image of my work at the original size. I only used the head of the Xia Seachan to highlight the happy emotion.
