Izvorul Lui Miron Monastery - A very peaceful and beautiful place

The “Izvorul lui Miron” monastery in Româneşti was founded by Miron Cristea, the first patriarch of Romania. It is a place very close to my city and which I have visited many times with the same pleasure. The monastery is surrounded by many lakes, one with water lilies and one with holy water, from where the faithful can get water. These are connected by small rivers where koi fish are found.
