Nature has always been something I really cherish a lot because it’s depicts the essence of man’s true creation. I and my friends took a trip down to Ibom Golf Resort hotel located in Uyo, the capital city of Akwa Ibom state. A five star hotel equipped to taste to make you feel the luxury life. The golf park was really something to reckon with cos of its horoscopic view well trimmed, the grass itself was looking so fresh and green oh I love green grasses. Luckily we saw our old time friend who is actually a lawyer now and who happens to be in town for the annual Nigerian Bar Association meeting held at the same hotel. We went into the hall conversed with some lawyers trying to make friends and it went well. We took a tour of the hotel saw the large reception hall filled with indigenous sculptors and arts of different sizes giving it the royal look.
I had time to chill at the restaurant, it was clean and the waiters were nice as well. We actually waited for the program but got too enticed by the view of the swimming pool which was opposite the golf resort. The fresh air was overwhelming giving you that feel of life.
The interactive session which had of course debate with a prize of Five hundred thousand Naira to win ended. After the judges had concluded, the lawyers from Ogun state emerged winner and were awarded their plague and cheque. The lawyers retired to their rooms to later attend the evening party. The president of the Nigerian bar association was also in attendance. I had time to talk to some female lawyers who were friendly and had sense of humor. I had fun hanging out my colleagues from a different field, we had fun dancing and drinking, the music was energetic . It was really a nice time
