Africa is my home and nobody can change that me but when home is somewhere you wanna go far away from, you wonder if you really had a home. I remember when I was young thinking basic amenities like light, water , good roads etc were something you had to fast and pray for, till when I realized we were being intentionally deprived of good life by the power controlling the affairs of the economy. Sometimes I wonder why a Blackman would chose to do evil to his fellow Blackman rather than good. Since the time of the colonials, the slave market was huge in Africa and it flourished with the help of kings, chiefs ruling the same black people. Community heads connived with the white to sell black people who they were supposed to be protecting. The heads of state would rather loot money and resources to lavish in a foreign land than to utilize it for the betterment of his people. No constant electricity,no good roads ,no clean water to drink and all we have been hearing is stories of reformation for long without nothing to show for it. Black youth strive everyday through tooth and nail to make ends meet to secure what could have been made available to them.
The streets of Africa is nothing to joke with. People go through rigorous work to make little penny barely enough to feed, when struck with an illness an average Blackman barely can afford good healthcare. Everyday I cry Africa why oh why.
I am black and proud of it and nothing can deter my love for Africa. Black man make life easy for your fellow Blackman because we are one. One love keeps us together.
