"The calendar says the holiday is over but then my body wants more rest" Amelia said 馃槄

Hope your day has been going well so far as I pray it ends perfectly too..
The Christmas break is almost over as academic activities will be starting tomorrow and guess what.... It's resumption test already.
Amelia is a basic 3 pupil who goes to a school that happens to be owned by the church her family attends.
At church yesterday, the priest who is also the principal of the school announced that School will be starting on Tuesday ( courtesy of the insecurity in Eastern part of Nigeria that added Monday as our weekend too ).
Amelia's mood quickly changed, not because of the resumption date announced but because of the resumption test announced 馃槄
It was understandable since just few students touched their academic notes all through the holiday ( how did you expect them to do this when there was a lot of eating, playing and hanging out with friends to do ).
Mr. Peter, Amelia's dad was also there in church and also heard the announcement.
Immediately after dinner, Mr. Peter called Amelia and this was how the conversation went:
Mr. Peter: How was your meal, my daughter?
Amelia: It was very sweet dad, I joined mum in the kitchen so I knew the meal will be delicious 馃構
Both laughed a bit....
Mr.Peter: So regarding the announcement the priest made today, hope you are ready for school?
Amelia: Dad, I would love to start on Thursday or Friday rather
Mr. Peter: "Why my daughter?", he asked surprisingly
The priest said the person that misses the resumption test already started failing since the person will be losing the marks for that particular assessment, so why don't you want to partake in the test?
Amelia: Dad, that is exactly why I don't want to start, with the serious face she made, she said,
"Dad, I haven't read for a month now ( that's the holiday duration) and have been playing everyday,
If I happen to start tomorrow, I will still get no score because there is nothing in my brain, so it's the same thing as me not going".
Mr. Peter couldn't control his laughter on the reason her daughter gave馃槀馃槀馃槀
Amelia used the opportunity to also add that the pupils resuming on Tuesday will also do the cleaning for everyone馃槀
