Venezuela’s situation is deteriorating quickly. Hundreds and thousands of people are fleeing the country daily. ‘I don’t think the world realises how serious the situation is. This could turn out to be a catastrophe of unprecedented size for the western hemisphere. The fact that the world looks the other way, doesn’t mean we have to do so as well.
