London is very famous for its grey sky. But Londoners know that there is more to its sky than just clouds and rain, like crisp blue skies on a winter day and beautiful sunsets in the summer.

I took this picture from Greenwich Park, on an August evening and the picture speaks for itself. I did not saturate or use any filters. It really was this pink by the time the sun was gone.

The light reflected on the River Thames and one of the most iconic new buildings in London, the gherkin, completes the image. Doesn't it look beautiful? I just love this city!
