While I'm hoping to get some new work out there soon, here is another piece from back in the day. I made this pendant back in 2014. It's your classic spiral implosion pattern on a black background. I really love this piece in direct sunlight, but it does have the tendency to look a bit washed out in regular lighting.
This piece was part of a long series of pendants I made while experimenting with color. For a number of pendants my aim was to keep the pattern and the background the same. I do like the color of the implosion here, but I prefer colors that naturally stand out in all lighting.
Editing and sunlight help bring out the vibrancy of the color.
