Badgers can dig huge caves with over 50 entrances for even multiple badger families.
They kind of look like big rats, but they are not. Okay they are probably related but ... well.
Apparently they are digging huge holes and cave system in the forest under tress and more. Just like a mole digs his tunnels. The badger is of course a lot bigger as a mole and therefore the tunnels are aswell.
Even a human can crawl trough the tunnels. They basically build a badger city for more than one badger family and this is quite interesting.
They are social to each other and can live in groups of more families.
You can also recognize them from pretty far away because of their white stripes on the head. Besides this they are shy to humans, so you will probably only rarely see one in the wild.
