It’s wonderful to read your review – firstly because of the way you tell the story without giving anything away, and secondly because I thought I was the only person to have reviewed this cinema classic.
The Fly is one of my favourite films and one of the first I ever saw. I remember I was five when I watched it; I was with my mum and dad, but they both ended up not liking it – they found it disgusting – whilst I was fascinated by it, hehehe. They stopped watching it but let me finish it on my own. From then on, I fell in love with this genre.
I didn’t know it was a remake; I thought it was the original release. Thanks for pointing that out – I wasn’t aware of it.
As for the message, it’s profound: ambition and the desire to be God will lead us to destruction.
God bless you. Best regards. @omarcitorojas
