Hey, my dear friends, how are you all doing? How are you feeling? All set? Today I want to share with you that I’m almost a fully-fledged lawyer—I say “almost” because, well, they still haven’t given me my physical license yet, so we’re still waiting. I think they’ll give it to me next Monday, and I’ll be jumping for joy!
Ese día lo tenía todo planeado, me levanté temprano para maquillarme y ver los resultados de mi cabello el que quiero que sepan que quedó de un divino, un color tan aurora que encato a horrores. Pero bueno aquí abajo tendrá imágenes jaja.
I had everything planned out that day—I got up early to put on my makeup and check out my hair, which I want you to know turned out absolutely gorgeous—a color so aurora-like that it’s incredibly captivating. But anyway, you’ll see pictures below, haha.
El maquillaje fue sencillo, use el mismo para la cesión de fotos del carnet, pero lo importante del maquillaje era la resistencia ya que no sabía con que me iba a esperar y tal el calor que hacía en el lugar era horrible, sentía que me estaba muriendo del calor, pero es obvio la persona que está al mando del colegio de abogados tienes más años que el partido político del país y nunca se preocupo de meterle la mano a la instalaciones, tan grave la situación que teníamos una piscina, teníamos porque ya no está.
The makeup was simple—I used the same look I’d worn for my ID photo shoot—but the most important thing about it was its staying power, since I didn’t know what to expect, and the heat at the venue was just awful; I felt like I was dying from the heat, but obviously, the person in charge of the bar association is older than the country’s political party and never bothered to invest in the facilities—the situation was so bad that we used to have a pool; we used to have one because it’s gone now.
Llegué como de costumbre siendo un ser de luz, con mi oufitt muy pink que ame, ra la única con una ropa original, los demás etaban todo no de acordé a la situación. Pero no que se hace, fui con mi mamá, con un pana que hizo la inscripción también, y con mi súper jefa, fue tan lindo el momento, por la compañía no por el lugar. Luego de ese momento fui con mi jefa a trabajar, el día marchó de maravilla como cosa rara y los zapatos me estaban matando. Descubrí que no puedo usar ese tipo tacones que me ven en las fotos porque me hace sacar estrías algo súper loco para la edad que tengo.
I showed up as usual, feeling like a ray of light, wearing my super pink outfit that I loved—I was the only one with something original to wear; everyone else was dressed in a way that didn’t fit the occasion. But what can you do? I went with my mom, a friend who also signed up, and my awesome boss. It was such a nice moment—because of the company, not the place. After that, I went to work with my boss. The day went wonderfully—which was kind of rare—and my shoes were killing me. I realized I can’t wear the kind of heels you see me in the photos because they give me stretch marks, which is totally crazy for someone my age.
Bueno amigos, esto es todo por hoy, en un mes tendré merecidas vacaciones, y les podré comentar más de mi vida de lo que he hecho, los quiero un mundo!
