Hoy quiero decirles que pase un día entero sin luz, lo que me puso a pensar en muchas cosas, una de estas es ¿realmente estamos disfrutando nuestras vidas? ¿Vivimos para complacer a los demás? O para hacernos felices, son tantas cosas que a veces diez woo, no puedo creer que estoy viviendo esto, pero a la vez no lo estoy viviendo, porque todo se vuelve monótono y dejas de pensar en lo que realmente te hace feliz.
Hey everyone, community, how are you all doing? Today I want to tell you that I spent an entire day without power, which got me thinking about a lot of things. One of them is: are we really enjoying our lives? Do we live to please others? Or to make ourselves happy? There are so many things that sometimes—wow—I can’t believe I’m living this, but at the same time I’m not really living it, because everything becomes monotonous and you stop thinking about what truly makes you happy.
Bueno en fin, dejando de un lado eso, aún no había utilizado como tal el aro de luz y dije es hora de ponerlo en práctica, estaba viendo pinterest y saben algo que nunca hice porque en realidad, mi mamá fue muy, pero muy estricta con el maquillaje y todo lo demás, pues maquillarme súper exagerado con dibujos, este será el post número uno de su amiga que no se puede quedar quieta jajaja.
Well, anyway, putting that aside, I hadn't really used the ring light yet, so I figured it was time to put it to use. I was browsing Pinterest, and you know what? I've never done this before because, honestly, my mom was really, really strict about makeup and everything else—like wearing super over-the-top makeup with designs. So this will be the first post from your friend who just can't sit still, haha.
Entonces puse manos a la obra, me hidrate la carita, lo que debe ser necesario en cada momento, así sea para ir a la vuelta de la esquina, el maquillaje tiene muchos químicos y hay que cuidarse de manchas y envejecer. Aquí les muestro fotitos de cuando la flor de cayena aún estaba despierta, porque para cuando logre terminar el maquillaje, ya se había acostado a dormir jajaja.
So I got to work, moisturized my face—something you should do every day, even if you’re just popping out to the corner store. Makeup contains a lot of chemicals, so you have to protect your skin from dark spots and premature aging. Here are some photos from when the cayenne flower was still awake, because by the time I finished my makeup, it had already gone to sleep, haha.
Iniciamos con el rubor, ¿exageramos un poquis?, no lo creo la verdad de esto trata los maquillajes, difumine full el rubor y pensé ¿será que así me queda el rubor cuando voy a trabajar? Luego de difuminar full, utilice tiza para hacerme las orillas de la flor, primero lo hice con corrector así que fue más fácil fijar con la tiza.
We started with the blush—did we go a little overboard? I don’t think so, honestly; that’s what makeup is all about. I blended the blush thoroughly and wondered, “Is this how my blush looks when I go to work?” After blending it in completely, I used a powder pencil to define the edges of the flower. I did it with concealer first, so it was easier to set with the powder pencil.
Utilice moradito por la orillas, y rubor en el centro con una tinta fije líneas y para el final utilice escarcha, pero como la escarcha no fue suficiente, me delinee el parpado con lápiz rojo, me gusto full. Pero como saben mis pestañas, son pequeñas y toco meterle potencia con el rizador para luego utilizar la máscara de pestañas de mi preferencia que siempre será kimbeaty, de verdad que nada permite que eso se caiga ni con el agua.
I used a light purple shade along the edges and blush in the center; I defined the lines with eyeliner, and finished with glitter. But since the glitter wasn’t enough, I lined my eyelid with red pencil—I absolutely loved it. But as you know, my lashes are short, so I have to give them a boost with the curler and then use my favorite mascara, which will always be Kimbeaty—seriously, nothing makes it run, not even water.
Y bueno amigo, esto fue el resultado de nuestro maquillaje, mi adolescente interior estuvo feliz todo este rato maquillándome, me gusto el resultado, para ser la primera vez que hago este tipo de maquillaje no estuvo nada mal, ame! ame! Ame! y este será mi nueva foto de perfil.
Well, friend, this is how our makeup turned out. My inner teenager was thrilled the whole time I was doing my makeup. I love the result—for my first time doing this kind of makeup, it wasn't bad at all. I love it, love it! Love it! And this will be my new profile picture.
