Un futuro pendón
Hola Hola
A mí manera.

A future banner
Hello Hello
I come to talk to you about something that is new to me, about what I have been working on and I am proud of. It's not something that's worked hard because I'm not a designer, it's just that I committed to a karate academy and I try to do my best.
First of all, I'm not a designer, I'm a creative person who set a goal, starting with a program like Canva. Perhaps many of you work with other programs, but I am limited since I work everything from my phone due to lack of a PC.
I already wish I had it, it would be one more tool to develop many ideas and improve the technique. As I said, I'm new to this, ideas and comments are welcome to help me improve. Even programs for the phone that are not Canva, although I confess that until I get everything out of it, I'm not going to change.
Here I tell you that I didn't know what size to choose because we want to have a banner made for the karate dojo where my son trains, so they have a very basic design ready to send it to print.
As I am the advertising part of the Committee, I set out to make a design in my own way of how I would like the banner to be, at least an idea of how I would like it to be, without that white background that the Shihan wants to order. I've always said you have to at least try.
We started and while I am explaining what I did, I am telling you what I thought:
My idea was: 3 photos where they were separated as if they were torn paper.
The first thing I did was choose 3 photos and put them in black and white with the option that the gallery gives to edit photos, I did not use a more advanced program. why black and white? Because the logo design is in black and red and should stand out on the banner, in this case.
Another question was: black or red background? The logo is not going to be seen so we would have to make it more loaded. Anyway, this is just a proposal. My way.
Then I choose the photos, I am about to choose the design where I was going to place them, I really did not get the one I wanted, but this one seemed to me to be quite similar.
I started to place the first photo.
Another photo to put it in the center.
And finally, another photo, there are 3.
I took those photos on different days, I am one of those who stays in the class until the end to take the necessary photos or videos to use as material for an Instagram post. After using them I delete them because I don't have space in my phone memory for everything.
After placing the photos, I put the option to make them transparent and make them look clearer. There in the bottom tab of the program, you slide it and it says "Transparent", it goes from 0 to 100 and at the beginning it is at 100, you have to lower the number so that it becomes as transparent as you want
After that, they previously sent me the logo in .png and I adapted it to the size I wanted and adjusted the transparency so that the logo and its details would be more noticeable.
I put the letters that say "Karate Academy" and those same letters, I duplicated it in the opinion that says "duplicate" and I put "Cumaná - Sucre State" which is where that dojo belongs.
And so it was:
They made me a correction that it cannot have the logo of the Organization and I put a patch on the Shihan karategui, because the one that appears on the poster is the Shihan Glen Nazareth, the karate coach I am talking about.
I hope my tutorial on how I did the design of the banner for the karate dojo has been useful to you and surely new designs will come with improvements in the explanation.
