Hello hivers and game lovers,

Welcome to the blog of southgamer@southgamer, where I talk about my game experience and everything gaming-related. It is the weekend, and you know the regular, it is gaming weekend, but this time I went a little bit old school. I do not know about you, but for me, way back in college, I played this game a lot.

I remember when I bought my first Android device back then, when touchscreen phones newly entered the market, and it was the new trend. It was something like what iPods were back in the day. Everybody had one, and if you didn't have one, you were left out.

Tennis 3D was the first game I installed on my Android phone, and I know how I played that game for hours. I was just so obsessed with seeing how it ends back then. Was there a certain amount of prize money I had to win before the game was over? Or will I have to play all the tournaments available in the game?

Now, you see how the obsession began. My Android phone will even get a little overheated and hot because Android phones back then were not built for long gaming hours, except the pretty expensive ones.

So today, after completing a design gig for a client, I went to the Play Games software on my PC, which allows me to play available Android games on PC, to update my Clash of Clans game.

Then I came across Tennis 3D in the store, and it was available to play on PC. Immediately, I was taken back in time as I clicked on download. It was a fast download as it is a game with a small size, and it is quite old as well, but still playable.

After installation, I went in for a quick game, but first, I had to select my gaming character, and I chose Dimotov. It sounds similar to the popular Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov. So I guess he should be good, and he looks athletic as well.

Now it is time to play the first match. The match was a simple game of three sets, and as usual, you get a brief tutorial on how to play the game at the start of the game. Whoever wins the most sets wins the match, as simple as that. But this time I will be using my mouse since on mobile you make use of your thumbs. Well, that is not hard, but swinging your thumbs on the screen tends to be easier than clicking with your mouse.

Playing on Hard Court

I went on to win the first set 60 - 40, as a missed swing or outside-the-court play means 15 points for the opposing party. But things took a turn for the worse in the second and third sets. I began to play poorly, missing good placements and swinging poor balls. I was swinging too early or too late, while in the third set, I was basically swinging the ball outside the court, and this led to me losing the match.

Although that wasn't enough for me, I also played on different courts, and truly, it all brought back some nice gaming memories. Honestly, gaming is a good way to relive some fun nostalgic memories, and I am glad I did this with Tennis 3D.
