For the first time since I have been Sunday Hivechess, today's round was the first I am actually proud of my performance. It was phenomenal I have to say. I was a runaway win with all my games for me especially when I got started with the first game. I did not hold back with any play as I did the very best I could to get to first place. I couldn't because I was not in the business of berserking this round at all. I wanted to play everybody with the same time and i knew within me I would not have the speed to compete with my 1:30 time control against my opponent's 3+2. It will be way harder than I can handle.
With the strongest performance rating in the tournament of 2125, 100% win rate. I did not hold back at all right from the first game down to the last which was the only game I berserked.
This was the first game that got me scared. I was worried I would not be able to win anymore after I blundered away a full queen. Why did I have to capture back with the queen? That's simple a blunder as it allows knight to e2 with a fork on my king and queen and that is game over for me. I wanted to resign at first site but not I said what do I have to lose in this game. I am already losing so why don't I play the game out and see wherever it leads to.
The game got to a position that was still losing for me but my opponent blundered back his queen and it was all game over at that point. In no time all his pawns where gone and I was super active with more than enough ways to win.

This was the most interesting game I played in the tournament because eof how tough it was. We both held the position for a long time, playing and playing in a desperate attempt to get an advantage just so anybody can claim the win. It was what kept me going and the presence of both bishop was how I knew I had the edge. From the above position, it looks I have to worry about that black passed pawns but no, my threats will come in because of the activities of my pieces and that's where it all started from. I was more active than my opponent and with that I kept pressing.

A nice performance for me and I have to admit I am impressed. Chess960 and that's why I am even more happy with this performance.
