A country looks for its talents, or a bachelor looks for a bride... 馃槂 this is how this post may be called or associated, in which my individual remaining photos seek their place under the sun - a post to be seen and appreciated. My usually informative photos that at the time of their taking they had a great meaning, they had their intended purpose, as I told you last time.

The lonely spring wild flowers in the garden:

Accidentally encountered a wasp that fell on the tiles:

And now this surreal attraction (in the background), unique of its kind in Bulgaria - the huge bench, table, chair and night lamp. I wonder if enough people know about it and have been here.

Pedestrian zone sign vandalized with stickers by football hooligans.
You know, I like to photograph things like that. I do not like such things themselves, but I photograph them to expose, if possible, their creators.

The urban bus stops in a declined city that make me feel like I'm on the Camino.

Monument to those who died from Haskovo in the Patriotic War 1944-1945.

By way of contrast, a modern building photographed in the same city.

And the decoration of another building, a bit older, traditional, but I would say impressive.

I think I like this type of post a lot. The eye and the mind jump from picture to picture, from object to object, from place to place. But don't tell me there isn't a story. There is. And it is much more complex than an ordinary story, threading threads through apparently unrelated objects and telling more than is expected of it.

Hive.jpgSoul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you.
