Hello everyone, I hope you are doing very well. Today I share with you the photos of how my experience was on the day of the Virgen del Valle walk here on the island of Margarita. This celebration could be said to be a tradition in the family, since since I was a baby I have visited the valley together with all the neighbors (who are mostly my uncles and cousins) and family friends. I can't tell you how it all started because I don't know exactly; I only know that it's been about 30 years in a row where the family in general visits the valley on that date. I have few memories, to tell the truth, since when we were quite a few (today many relatives are out of the country and there are few left here on the island), I was smaller and, to tell the truth, I don't remember much in general, but it helped me with the photos and some things they tell me.

Hola a todos, espero que se encuentren muy bien. El día de hoy comparto con ustedes las fotos de cómo fue mi experiencia el día de la caminata de la Virgen del Valle aquí en la isla de Margarita. Esta celebración se podría decir que es una tradición en la familia, ya que desde que yo era una bebé he visitado el valle en conjunto con todos los vecinos (los cuales en su mayoría son mis tíos y primos) y amigos de la familia. No les puedo contar cómo fue que empezó todo porque no lo sé con exactitud; solo sé que ya van como 30 años seguidos en donde la familia en general visita el valle en esa fecha. Yo tengo pocos recuerdos, a decir verdad, ya que cuando éramos bastante (ya hoy en día muchos familiares están fuera del país y son pocos los que quedan acá en la isla), yo estaba más pequeña y, a decir verdad, no recuerdo mucho en general, pero me ayudo con las fotos y algunas cosas que me cuentan.
For the first time when I remember the road, it didn't get annoying, much less heavy, as was the case of the last time I went to the valley with my cousins that at that time I was on the verge of fainting. I don't remember very well why but I know it was very bad and this year when I found myself in the valley with my cousin the first thing I did was tell her that the road became calm and not heavy at all heavy at all to which she started joking with my almost fainting last time hahaha but well, it was left for the memory... the truth is that we didn't do much when we got to the valley other than rest from the walk and take pictures although I preferred to just observe and live the moment and not be glued to the phone taking photos (although I did take a few who I cheated hahaha)

por primera vez aue yo recuerde el camino no se me hizo fastidioso ni mucho menos pesado como fue el caso de la última vez que fui al valle con mis primas que para ese momento yo estaba al borde del desmayo no recuerdo muy bien porque pero se que estaba muy mal y este año cuando me encontré en el valle con mi prima lo primero que hice fue decirle que el camino se me hizo tranquilo y para nada pesado a lo que ella empezó a bromear con mi casi desmayo de la última vez jajaja pero bueno, quedó para el recuerdo… la verdad es q no hicimos mucho al llegar al valle más q descansar de la caminata y tomar fotos aunque yo preferí solamente observar y vivir el momento y no estar pegada al teléfono tomando fotos (aunque si tomé unas cuantas a quien engaño jajaja)
The truth is that this year we were few who walked and on the way I kept remembering the number of people we were a few years ago. It gave me a lot of feeling, but well, not everything could remain the same after several years, although I do not lose hope of one day walking again with the same people I once did it with... La verdad es que este año fuimos pocos los que caminamos y yo en el camino no dejaba de recordar la cantidad de personas que éramos hace unos años. Me dio bastante sentimiento, pero bueno, no todo podía permanecer igual después de varios años, aunque yo no pierdo la esperanza de algún día caminar nuevamente con las mismas personas con las que algún día lo hice… Así que nada, espero que les haya gustado.
