বাংলাদেশের অন্যতম সুন্দর বনের মধ্যে হচ্ছে সবচেয়ে সেরা সুন্দরবন। এই বনে পাওয়া যায়না এমন কোন প্রাণী আছে বলে মনে হয়না। কিছু কিছু প্রাণী আছে যেগুলো বাংলাদেশে নেই সেই গুলো ছাড়া অন্য সকল ধরনের প্রাণীর সন্ধান এই সুন্দরবনে মিলে।
এই সুন্দরবনে রয়েছে বাঘ, ভাল্লুক, হরিণ সহ বিচিত্র সকল ধরনের প্রাণী এই বনে রয়েছে। এই বনে জনসাধারণের বসবাস নেই বললেই চলে। কারন এই বনে মানুষ বসবাস করার উপযোগী নাই।
