Today I have not many words and I must accept that sometimes that's how it is. I share with you this image, a small painting without title, simple, with a very limited palette. In general I use a lot of red in my paintings. Maybe this image is not the best to illustrate it, but among my oil paintings I have about 12 or more variants of this color. Cadmium, vermilion, alizarin, quinacridone, cadmium red purple, magenta, rust, and several others. I really enjoy recognizing their subtle variations in pigment, temperature, saturation, and taking use of them when I work on my paintings. Flesh is often present in my representations, and I really enjoy observing those subtleties! It is incredible how these games with color enrich the plastic work. If a single color opens the door to a whole world, what about the rest of the spectrum. Color is a world to investigate, so rich in variations! What a pleasure. Well, that's all <3
- Hoy tengo pocas palabras y hay que aceptar que a veces es así. Les comparto esta imagen anónima, una pequeña pintura, simple, con una paleta súper limitada. En general utilizo mucho el color rojo en mis pinturas. Quizás esta imagen no sea la mejor para ilustrarlo, pero entre mis óleos tengo alrededor de 12 o más variantes de este color. Cadmio, bermellón, alizarín, quinacridona, rojo cadmio púrpura, magenta, de óxido, y varios etcéteras más. Disfruto mucho reconociendo sus sutiles variantes en cuanto a pigmento, temperatura, saturación, y aprovecharlas cuando trabajo en mis pinturas. La carne suele estar presente en mis representaciones, y disfruto tanto observando esas sutilezas! Es increíble cómo enriquece a la obra plástica estos juegos con el color. Si un solo color te abre la puerta a todo un mundo, qué decir del resto del espectro. El color es un mundo a investigar, tan rico en variaciones! Qué placer. Bueno, eso es todo <3
