Hello hivians!! Hope you all had a beautiful day.
So yesterday this project that we planned for a long time in my church was finally accomplished. I had to bring in the idea of using paper flowers on a plain fabric to minimise cost and it was gladly accepted, though they had to mandate me to take it up.
So this is how I started!!!!
I had to purchase some cardboards and crafts papers with bright colours and a plain black material.
To get the design I wanted, I had to measure out 4 inches from the paper then folded into two to be able to get a straight cut for the remaining paper. I used a round cover to get a circular shape, then used that as a sample to get as many as the paper could produce.
I had to cut the circles into two halves to increase the number.
To make the first step in the flower I folded the semi circle in a double cone shape and added gum to make it firm.
I got a circular shape base, pasted gum on the surface then attached the double cone flowers I made to form a rose, I had to do some colour mix for some flowers.
And the flowers were ready, so on getting to church I clipped the plain fabric to the pattern woods attached to the walls pleating the middle part to get a design touch, then I clipped the flowers using thumb tags to the fabric, I did some other designs I couldn't snap the process due to time then complemented the process.
The Process will still continue when I can make more flowers to make it more colourful.
