The Cindy Kay Effect

A few months ago I posted an open letter to Cindy Kay Currier because I had been following along on her channel Rise Together, and then suddenly she disappeared without saying a word to her viewers.

She was intriguing and some of the things she said resonated with me, not everything, but enough to capture my attention. I even emailed her telling her how much I enjoyed her channel, but she never addressed me back directly, or indirectly for that matter.

One day, close to the time she disappeared, she posted a strange, shocking video. Unfortunately, I’ve seen a lot of shocking stuff on the internet, so nothing really surprises anymore, but I was very surprised that, after all the talk about love and new beginnings, she would post something like that. It shouldn’t have surprised me because she was alluding to the justice system and what to do about crime in her last videos before she took her channel offline.

The video in question was about the star of Full House, Bob Saget and his very graphic and disgusting ‘comedic’ explanation of vile incest practices and even more vomit-inducing stuff. Another part of the video shows a man in Africa being tortured because he raped an 11yr old girl. Once one gets over the content of the videos, they do make you think about what we as a society need to discuss openly, and that is…how should we deal with perpetrators of these horrific crimes, and also, what exactly do we consider a crime? Is talking about doing a vile act already considered a crime or just proof of a sick and disturbed mind? These are the things we need to think about and come to grips with, knowing how much evil is taking place right now under our noses, and also, how many vile and evil things are just being said, and even applauded in some circles.

After Cindy Kay disappeared I wrote this open letter and did a follow-up post with part of a video she had posted. I wasn’t worried about repercussions for using her video because she actually encouraged that.

Since the last time I wrote about her, I haven’t heard anything from her directly, nor have I been searching very hard…but other people were talking about her. One of them Denise Matteau helped give a new perspective on Cindy Kay. While some people were making videos claiming Cindy was a fraud, Denise has another view. Namely, that Cindy Kay is part of a rogue CIA group. Also, Denise said that Cindy started a new channel, which was easy to confirm.

Cindy Kay Currier started a new channel called Storm Navigator without informing the people that had been following along with her on Rise Together channel. Assuming channels are started to get as many viewers as possible, it is a little strange and suspicious not to inform the people that had been following the old one.

Thanks to Denise Matteau we can at least put to rest any questions as to the whereabouts of Cindy Kay. On her new Twitter account and her channel Storm Navigator she says she’s the voice of the people. You can interpret that any way you like; I’m going to be frank and say I speak for myself and renounce anyone claiming to speak for me, as I am part of "the people"
