I started season #108 in silver and ended the season in silver.
The reason is last time I RENTED cards and moved into GOLD on the last day. When that happened, I got into GOLD from the highest level I reached last season. So during season #108, I wanted to stay in Silver all season.
One thing you can learn by going back and forth is to see where you are at from a DECK win/loss and RP point of view. Because my deck is underpowered, getting 45-55% win rate is harder in Gold League. That impacts the RP that I get. So by staying in silver, season #109 will be all silver chest. Based on previous results, I should reach 180 silver chests (EoS and Daily) by the end of the season on April 29.
The goal is to finish in Gold for season #109.
You can see the 92 Silver Daily Chest I earned. The 34 Gold chest is mostly from the SEASON Chest based on finishing in GOLD last season. The 4 chest was the carry over GOLD chest on day one of the seasons.
The chests were fairly average for silver/gold for the entire season. The 47 SPS opened from the Gold EoS was a nice surprise!! This is the second time I was able to get a jackpot size pull from SPS, with the previous high of 60 SPS!
This is a nice reward for the entire season with 135 SPS. This season, you can see the season chest of 51 SPS is mostly from that one Gold EoS Chest of 47 SPS. I earned 22 SPS from Rank Battles in Wild and Modern. The big earning is again from Guild Brawls, making up over 38% of the season totals.
Now, I have to rent cards for Guild Brawl, but they help me in Rank Battles and improve my win rate.
Since I started in silver this season, the goal is to finish in Gold with 1 or 2 days left. I want to aim for 180 Silver chest and hope that the number of chest gives me a better chance to get a legendary or a GFL.
The one advantage of earning silver EOS chest and being in silver is the energy cost is 10 DEC per point. However, I don't have any DEC-B nor do I have lots of DEC to spend on extra battle? 1000 DEC ==> 100 extra Battle ==> with is like 45 extra wins, which might translate to an extra 5 chest a season. Is it worth the $1 for the chance of a GFL or more cards?
That I don't know and I might want until May or June to test out when I can get to 60K CP? As your deck get stronger, the win rate increases slightly!! We can test that at a later time.
So far, I have won a few VRUZ. Free is Free. Still waiting for a lucky roll.
