A greeting to hive.blog and especially to the community

Today I felt like sitting down to write about a value that changes everything in life for me: perseverance. Sometimes we hear people talk about constancy as if it were something found only in books, but the truth is that it is demonstrated in the small daily struggles that each of us carries out.

Remembering where we come from and how we started

To speak to you with total truth and from the heart, I want to use my own experience since I joined this hive.blog platform as an example. When I started here, I had almost nothing. I barely had a tiny bit of voting power, almost zero Hive Power (HP), and I did not fully understand how formatting, tags, or communities worked. Everything seemed new and even a bit complicated to me.

At first, you see other users with years of experience, large accounts, and flawless posts, and it is very easy to feel small. You create your first articles with great enthusiasm, put in the effort, and when you see that results take time or rewards are very low, you feel like calling it quits. The road looks extremely long and quite steep. But it is precisely at that exact moment when perseverance becomes the most valuable tool we can hold in our hands. I decided I was not going to give up at the first hurdle and that I would keep posting with honesty, learning something new every single day.

Staying firm when you feel like getting off the boat

I am not going to lie to you, along this journey there are days when you get tired. There are moments when the power goes out for several hours, the internet fails, or the daily routine gets so tight that you feel you do not have enough time. On days like that, anyone might think about getting off the boat, letting go of everything, and saying that this is as far as it goes.

However, that is where the true strength of constancy comes in. I understood that stumbling or feeling tired is no reason to abandon ship. When my mind told me to leave it as it was, I preferred to take a breather, organize my notes on my phone, and try again the next day. The constant struggle is not about never feeling doubt, but about keeping on rowing even when the water gets rough. If you put love into what you do, not out of obligation but for the joy of sharing something nice with people, the community itself pushes you forward and gives you reasons to continue.

Seeing the fruit and continuing to learn with humility

Today I look back with gratitude and realize that perseverance really bears fruit. With a lot of effort and constant work, today I have a reputation rank of 66 and over 700 HP accumulated in my account. To some, it might not seem like a huge figure, but to me, it represents every night I sat down to write, every photo I took in my yard, and every sincere comment I shared with fellow members.

I know very well that I still have so much left to learn. I keep discovering things about the platform, how to improve my posts, and how to contribute more to the communities. But here we go, step by step, without rushing but without stopping. The lesson I take from all of this is that in life, the person who arrives furthest is not the one who goes fastest, but the one who never gives up. I hope that if you feel tired on your own path today, you find the encouragement to keep moving forward, because at the end of the effort, a beautiful harvest always awaits us.

I say goodbye to all of you, your friend solorzanot@solorzanot.
