This is my first steemiteducation homework assignment. It is quite an interesting one and so I decided to have a little with it. We are supposed to suggest where we would take our students on a field trip if we could go anywhere in the world. My learners have been to various trips before, zoos, museums, historical sites such as Nelson Mandela's house, aquariums, planetariums, market theatre, and so on. For this homework I needed to get creative.
I came up with the idea of letting my learners do the work for me. I'm bad I know, I'm a bad apple hahaha. I gave them a fun activity to do. I thought it would be a great idea to have them suggest where they'd like to go on their next field trip or if they couldn't figure out where then they should say what they would like to do on their trip. Once we've figured "what" we would then figure out where. Great idea right?
I divided the learners into groups and we went outside to plan the activities they would like to be involved in in the field trip. They really worked hard. Their focus and brainstorming were implacable, second to none. It dawned on me as I was walking around monitoring them and providing my assistance here and there that they are cable of great things if they are allowed to think outside the box and be in charge of their own learning. Long story short they came up with some great places, with my help and suggestions of course. Here are my learners hard at work brainstorming.

What we've decided on was an activity rather than a place. They would really love to go camping, to my surprise I must admit. So I pulled out my tabled and went online to find the best wildlife nature reverse parks in the world. We spent quite a bit of time looking through the photos and reading through the descriptions of the places. Finally we all agreed on the Amazon Rain forest.
