With the cactus in their baskets, it appears some of them are getting settled in their new homes. One of the Prickly Pear has started forming new growth.

I figured the Prickly Pear would be the first to recover. In my experience they can get settled in new soil quite quickly.

Something took a chunk out of one of the other pads forming on the Prickly Pear. Not sure how that happened.

That piece missing does not seem to bother the cactus. Just calloused over and got to forming new pads.

The other cactus in the baskets are doing okay. Not much change with them yet. A couple got some bad sunburns but most of them just seem to be still adjusting.

The other pads in the baskets are just doing basically nothing. But I'm sure when they are settled they will form new growth.

With the increased water the Asparagus are sending up new sprouts. Good to see them happy and forming new vegetation.

A new addition with be some Hardy Kiwi vines. I plan on growing them where the Raspberries used to be. And maybe in a few years I'll get some kiwi fruit.

Im adjusting them to the climate right now. So day one of reciving them I took them out of the box. Then put them in the shade. Day two they get part sun and part shade. And then by day three they get full sun. And if all goes well they will go into the ground.

I got two male plants and about six female plants. So if all goes all they should produce fruit. They are a hairless Kiwi that tastes sweeter than the large hairy counterparts.

I plan on training them on the trellis I had the Raspberries growing on. Hopefully it will work well to support them.

I found my tomato cage stakes and got to setting it up. Those two Tomato plants are really taking off and need as much support as they can get.

I had to move the stem around to get it into the cage. But it did not break and got it all inside the stakes. Over time I'll see how well it grows in there.
