In part three I permanently attach the filter adapter to the front of the action camera. This allows me to use many different filters to isolate different light waves for unique scenes. The adapter does not fit perfectly around the camera housing, so I had to add some double sided tape, and then hot glued it all together.
I messed up on the hot glue the first time around, trying to work with it using a toothpick too early. The second time I gave it a little more time to dry and it made taking off gobs a little easier.
It may not look all that clean, but none of the glue shows up in the video on the edge of the lens and when the filter is on none of that hot glue gunk can be seen.
The camera is now ready to see in full spectrum, or any wavelength in between by using the screw on filters.
