I really enjoy the smell of Sage and Salvia, I found a seller on ebay that had cuttings for sale in California. The cuttings were from a Salvia Gregii plant, and should make some nice red flowers along with a great smell.
The package showed up almost a week after ordering, and the cuttings were pretty dried out. Should have thought about that before ordering I guess, or asked for faster shipping. As soon as I opened the package of cuttings the smell was unmistakable.
As soon as I got them I got to work prepping the cuttings, I got almost fifty cuttings but looked like most would not make it.
I divided them in to two groups, ones for the potting soil I prepared and the other half will go into water. I prepped half by scraping off the bark at the base of the cuttings and used rooting hormone on the cuttings for the dirt.
At the end of the video I move the camera above my head and speed up the video of me planting half the cuttings in dirt.
