Welcome, today we will not look at any long-distance route as you are used to with me, but we will visit the deepest center of Prague. We will take a look at the Wallenstein garden, which is located at Letenská 123/4, 118 00 Malá Strana and can be visited for free from April to October.
Vítejte, dnes se nepodíváme na žádnou dálkovou trasu jak jste u mě zvyklý, ale zavítáme do nejhlubšího centra Prahy. Podíváme se do Valdštejnské zahrady, která leží na adrese Letenská 123/4, 118 00 Malá Strana a je možné ji navštívit od dubna do října zdarma.
The garden is built in the early Baroque style and was founded at the same time as the Wallenstein Palace, which currently houses the Senate of the Czech Republic. In the northeastern part there is a square pond, which is home to many massive carp.
Zahrada je zbudována v raně barokním stylu a byla založena současně se stavbou Valdštejnského paláce, kde v současné době sídlí Senát České republiky. V severovýchodní části je čtvercový rybníček, jež je domovem mohutných kaprů.
Carp are not the only inhabitants of the garden. You can also meet free-roaming peacocks here.
Kapři nejsou jediní obyvatelé zahrady. Můžete zde potkat i volně potulujicí se pávy.
The garden also includes several fountains that are decorated with sculptures. So every photographer, art and history lover will surely find something to their liking.
Součástí zahrady je i několik fontán, které jsou zdobeny sochami. Takže každý fotograf, milovník umění i historie si jistě přijde na své.
From the pond, there is a view of several landmarks of Prague at the same time. You can look at the distant church of St. Nicholas on Malá Strana and at the same time Prague Castle.
Od rybníčku je výhled na několik dominant Prahy současně. Můžete se podívat na vzdálený kostel svatého Mikuláše na Malé Straně a zároveň na Pražský hrad.

Among the treetops I found this interesting view of the St. Vitus Church at Prague Castle. The autumn colors and the fog made this picture much more interesting.
