Hay lugares comunes que caminamos todo el tiempo.
Sabemos cuánto nos demoramos en llegar a nuestro destino si pasamos por allí, reconocemos los comercios, los murales, los edificios y sus nombres.
Del otro lado de la calle, después de cruzar las dos avenidas de cuatro carriles, puede que haya un mundo que desconocemos.
"-¿Ese café siempre estuvo ahí?
-Sí"
"-¡Qué hermoso lugar! ¿Desde hace cuánto tiempo están acá?
-Hace quince años"
El día de hoy crucé la calle y me topé con una librería independiente muy bonita, con su propia esencia y personalidad. Una librería llena de detalles, carteles, frases sueltas, que me inspiraron a leer, a imaginar, a crear, a soñar.
También me encontré con un libro, sobre la subestimada actividad de caminar. Recogí algunas frases de allí y las guardé para siempre en mi memoria y en la galería de mi teléfono celular, me gustaría traer esas frases conmigo y que tengan un lugar en mi biblioteca. Ese brevísimo encuentro con el libro "Camine el sendero hacia una vida más consciente" le dio más de un sentido a la caminata del día de hoy.
Por eso es importante cruzar la calle. Para conocer nuevos rincones de la ciudad, para aprender cosas nuevas y para reconectar con lo más sencillo pero magnífico del día a día.

There are common places that we walk by all the time.
We know how long it takes us to get to our destination if we pass by, we recognize the stores, the murals, the buildings and their names.
On the other side of the street, after crossing the two four-lane avenues, there may be a world we don't know about.
*Was that café always there?
-Yes.
*What a beautiful place! How long have you been here?
-Fifteen years ago.
Today I crossed the street and came across a very nice independent bookstore, with its own essence and personality. A bookstore full of details, posters, single sentences, that inspired me to read, to imagine, to create, to dream.
I also came across a book, about the underestimated activity of walking. I picked up some phrases from there and saved them forever in my memory and in my cell phone gallery, I would like to bring those phrases with me and have them have a place in my library. That very brief encounter with the book "Walk the path to a more conscious life " gave more than one meaning to today's walk.
That's why it's important to cross the street. To get to know new corners of the city, to learn new things and to reconnect with the simplest but most magnificent of everyday life.
