Helado picante - Hot Mango😱 🍨🔥

Otro día soleado, otra oportunidad para conocer una Heladería Artesanal.
Después de un buen rato caminando por los alrededores de la Calle 72, nos topamos, sin buscarlo, con la heladería Fratto. El calor y el cansancio fueron las excusas perfectas para disfrutar de un helado.
Los sabores que ofrecen allí son originales y variados: Auyama, Flor del Naranjo, dátiles, Caramel Frances (el que escogió mi papá), Cardamomo, Coco-chocolate, Hot Mango (el que escogió mi mamá). Yo escogí el sabor Caribeño, pues debajo del cartel se leía: guayaba, maracuyá, naranja, piña, ron y vainilla.

Mi madre leyó en la heladera Mango y escogió ese, pero no se había dado cuenta de que decía Hot Mango, y apenas lo probó le supo muy picante y no pudo continuar comiéndolo🙈. En mi caso, el picante no me molesta y últimamente estoy disfrutando el probar sabores de helado diferentes, así que por eso le sugerí que intercambiáramos, y ella aceptó aliviada 🤗.

Nos dimos cuenta de que, cuando mis papás ya habían acabado sus helados, yo todavía iba por la mitad del mío, pues el picor lo sentía en la lengua y en los labios y tenía que tomar pausas, no podía comerlo tan rápido 🤣. Yo describiría el Hot Mango como un sabor bien mexicano, se podía ver el chile picadito en algunas zonas del helado, y me hizo recordar a las youtubers mexicanas que veo, cuando meriendan con fruta rociada de Tajín.

Fue divertido, refrescante y me encanta tener la oportunidad de probar sabores nuevos. De todos modos, cuando de helados se trata, prefiero los sabores dulces, así que muy probablemente no lo volvería a pedir por voluntad propia 😅, aunque sí lo volvería a intercambiar con mi madre, si fuera necesario!

Another sunny day, another opportunity to visit an artisan ice cream shop.
After a long time walking around Calle 72, we stumbled, without looking for it, with the ice cream shop Fratto. The heat and tiredness were the perfect excuses to enjoy an ice cream.
The flavors offered there are original and varied: Auyama, Flor del Naranjo, dates, Caramel Frances (the one my dad chose), Cardamom, Coco-chocolate, Hot Mango (the one my mom chose). I chose the Caribbean flavor, because underneath the sign it read: guava, passion fruit, orange, pineapple, rum and vanilla.

My mom read on the refrigerator Mango and chose that one, but she hadn't realized that it said Hot Mango, and as soon as she tasted it, it tasted very spicy and she couldn't continue eating it🙈. In my case, spicy doesn't bother me and lately I'm enjoying trying different ice cream flavors, so that's why I suggested we swap, and she relievedly agreed 🤗.

We realized that when my parents had already finished their ice creams, I was still half way through mine, as the itchiness was on my tongue and lips and I had to take breaks, I couldn't eat it that fast 🤣. I would describe the Hot Mango as a very Mexican flavor, you could see the chile picadito in some areas of the ice cream, and it reminded me of the Mexican youtubers I watch, when they snack on fruit sprinkled with Tajin.

It was fun, refreshing and I love having the opportunity to try new flavors. Anyway, when it comes to ice cream, I prefer sweet flavors, so I most likely wouldn't order it again willingly 😅 although I would swap it with my mom again, if need be!
