There are a lot of coffee shops in the city where I live. Half of them belong to a starbucks style franchise network, the other half are small and local coffee shops, but they offer an added value related to the quality of their coffee, the warmth of the service or the coziness of the place. Last year, I visited Azahar Café and I can say that there I tasted one of the best cappuccinos I have ever tasted in my life. The experience of a great coffee is lived from the attention, the variety in the menu and the ambiance of the place, to the way it is served, the cup, the creaminess and the taste of the drink.
Something I loved about Azahar Café is that the coffee is served in "Latte Art" style, specifically with a design of hearts. This is something that I personally love because it reminds me of my hometown, where signature coffee and barismo stand out.
I loved this Cappuccino because I felt the strength of the coffee, in perfect combination with the creaminess and flavor of the milk. The foam, the sweetness and the warmth of this drink were comforting to my body at that moment. I liked that it was a big cup full of coffee, and that I didn't feel the drink lacked strength, like so many other cappuccinos I've tried. This one was delicious, from start to finish.
A big plus of Azahar Café's menu is that they serve breakfast all day long. Even if my first meal of the day is at 2:00 p.m., I need it to be breakfast, is anyone else around here like me?
I also find it wonderful that they offer a Coffee Tasting, on their menu it says that they select three of the seasonal beans so that the taster can experience a variety of profiles and attributes of Colombian coffee. This tasting has a cost of approximately $4.00, an experience that I would love to live and share in this community.
I visited Azahar cafe after a job interview, so I just sat alone at the bar. That day I thought things had gone wrong, so I decided to accompany my cappuccino with a sweet, a chocolate dipped puff pastry. The ambiance of the place was quite comforting, plants everywhere, warm colors and a great decoration with coffee pots, coffee products and ground coffee beans.
I had a nice cappuccino that day that I will always remember because things turned out better than I thought they would. I finally got the job and a little more stability came into my life. I hope to return soon to Azahar Café, this time with my computer to do telework, something that I saw several people doing that day, next to a great cup of coffee.
