Seeing a big city from afar allows us to appreciate it more or also to hate it hahaha. In this case for me the feeling is positive.
Caracas (Venezuela) is a very dynamic city, with typical problems of a congested place like traffic, disorder, etc., but in my opinion it has more things in favor than against. For example, it's a city with a lot of greenery, nature appears everywhere and makes your day.
Its big plus is the mountain that surrounds it, Waraira Repano or Avila, from any part of the city you can see it to a lesser or greater extent and it is also the classic escape for city dwellers. The hundreds of trails and recreational areas of this National Park are full on weekends.
The images I share in this post were taken on a weekday morning in an area near the Catuche Ranger Station. I was with an ecologist group that went up to plant some plants in the mountain, at a certain point I stopped to observe and I found these fabulous views. Not every city in the world has such a rich natural environment, that's why I like to capture and share these landscapes whenever I get the chance.
Ver de lejos una gran ciudad nos permite apreciarla más o también odiarla jajaja. En este caso para mí el sentimiento es positivo.
Caracas (Venezuela) es una ciudad muy dinámica, con problemas típicos de un lugar congestionado como el tráfico, desorden, etc., pero a mi parecer tiene más cosas a favor que en contra. Por ejemplo, es una ciudad con mucho verdor, la naturaleza aparece en cualquier parte y te alegra el día.
Su gran punto a favor es la montaña que la rodea, Waraira Repano o Ávila, desde cualquier parte de la ciudad puedes verla en menor o mayor medida y es además el escape clásico de los citadinos. Los cientos de senderos y áreas recreativas que tiene este Parque Nacional se llenan los fines de semana.
Las imágenes que comparto en esta publicación las hice un día de semana en la mañana por una zona cercana al Puesto de Guarda Parques Catuche. Estaba con un grupo ecologista que subió a sembrar algunas plantas en la montaña, en cierto punto me paré a observar y me encontré con estas fabulosas vistas. No cualquier ciudad del mundo cuenta con un entorno natural tan rico, por eso me gusta capturar y compartir estos paisajes cuando se me da la oportunidad.
