Caracas by night / Caracas nocturna

When the activity stops, the stores are closing and people are hurrying the step fleeing to the darkness, another nuance takes over the big city. Among many shady steps and quiet streets the night lights emerge, those that transform many ordinary buildings into attractive monuments that make you take out your camera to take them home somehow.

Cuando la actividad cesa, las tiendas van cerrando y la gente va apresurando el paso huyéndole a la oscuridad, otro matiz se apodera de la gran ciudad. Entre muchos pasos sombríos y calles en quietud surgen las luces de la noche, esas que transforman a muchas edificaciones ordinarias en atractivos monumentos que te hacen sacar tu cámara para llevártelos de alguna manera a casa.

I share this series of photos taken on different dates and also in various parts of the city of Caracas, Venezuela, but all when the sun has gone down or at night, when the rhythm has dropped and there is time for contemplation, although in this city you never have to lower your guard... I hope they are to your liking.

Comparto esta serie de fotos hechas en distintas fechas y también en varias partes de la ciudad de Caracas, Venezuela, pero todas al caer la tarde o de noche, cuando ya el ritmo ha bajado y hay tiempo para la contemplación, aunque en esta urbe jamás hay que bajar la guardia...
