Hello all Splinterlands friends,
It's me again to share with you my Splinterlands diary.
I'm so happy with 3 legendary cards in season 29, especially Terraceous Hulk - the 1st Earth Soulbound legendary one. I also switched to Modern format and got the highest ranked battle reward in a season. However, the disadvantage of switching to the Modern format is that I got fewer Reward points, so I got fewer Reward chests and reward cards in a season. It slows down my reward cards progress.

1. SPS earning

• I got 316 staked SPS from ranked battle/ daily and EOS / brawl rewards and Tower defense packs this season ✅
• I have 13K staked SPS in my account. I only need 230SPS each season to achieve 15k SPS by year-end. 📈
• In general, I'm still on track with my staked SPS target.

2. DEC earning

• After switching to the Modern format, I needed to rent some strong CL/Rift Watcher cards to strengthen my deck in Silver league while the revenue was not increased. As a consequence, my NET rental income was negative in season 29

3. Cards

• My deck value was reduced to ~$600 because I already sold some cards at good prices like Halfling Alchemist at $49.9, Deeplurker at $2.5, and Venari Bonesmith at $3.9. After that, I bought other cards to upgrade my deck.
• I was only able to level up 2 cards
  

4. Next steps

• Join the Guild brawl regularly ✅
• When I played in Bonze I league - Modern format, I got a good ranked battle reward with ~1 SPS per winning match. However, I got less SPS battle reward when I moved up to the Silver league. So I have a thought of playing 2 formats in parallel. I play in Bonze I - Modern format to get higher SPS rewards and play in Silver I - Wild format to get higher Reward points. However, considering there are a lot of bots in Wild format now and maintaining 2 decks, I will only stay in Modern format and will upgrade my deck to play in Silver league.
• I will flip some non-use cards to some more useful ones to strengthen my deck ✅
• The proposal of Moving SPS rewards to Soulkeep was passed and waits for the Splinterlands team to implement it in the next update. I will keep 50 Nightmare packs in my account to play the game when it's official launched in coming weeks.
