📖 Introduction

This season was a pretty good season for me, I have finished in the top fifty this season for the third season in a row, so I guess I am now consistently top 50 Modern Champion player.

As you can see from above I have focused exclusively on the Modern league. Considering much higher SPS and Glint earnings I don't think there is any reason to play in Wild if you can play in Modern these days.

I have finished this season at number forty nine, if we compare with the previous season we will see that I have played significantly less battles in overall this season and my rating was about 220 points lower and I have placed three places lower, however my win rate has actually improved:

If we compare with my first season in top fifty, we will see that I took 48th position and played 19 battles less than this season and have achieved a ranking of 4740 which is exactly 100 points less than this season, but my win rate was actually the best of all three seasons:

I don't know what this really means other than more battles seems to corelated to higher rating and lower win rate. I guess as I get higher in rating I get to meet more of the tougher bots and top scholars so my win rate starts to drop, but I still creep up in raking just more slowly.

My top sources of SPS are still Modern ranked and SPS Chain Block validation. Staking rewards are a distant third and Brawl rewards are but a footnote. The last two days of ranked earned me around 1,300 SPS tokens or close to four times my total brawl SPS rewards for the season. And I am in a maximum brawl tier five in a guild that places 3-5th in brawls usually.

Brawls just don't bring in as much SPS tokens as ranked play does. Also SPS staking rewards are less than a third of my ranked SPS earnings despite having close to nine hundred thousand SPS staked:

This season I am back down to around fifteen thousand SPS earned in a season, that is very good progress.

Merits keep accumulating, but I don't have any use for them as my Gladiator cards are fully maxed out for a while now. I hope Splinterlands comes up with a new set of Gladiator cards or some other use for these tokens...

Here you can see that I spent some glint tokens buying energy and most of the Glint still went towards chest purchases as I am still working on maximizing my reward cards.
