Wednesday Walk near the river station of Kyiv / Прогулянка в середу біля річкового вокзалу Києва (EN-UA)

This is my entry for the #wednesdaywalk, a project hosted by 
Greetings from the city of Kyiv, the capital of heroic Ukraine. Today is Wednesday, and I want to invite you for a walk near the river station of Kyiv, on the banks of the Dnipro River.
Привіт друзі. Вітання вам з міста Києва, столиці героїчної України. Сьогодні середа, і я хочу запросити вас на прогулянку біля річкового вокзалу Києва, на березі річки Дніпро.
The river station is located in the very center of Kyiv. It was built in 1960 and for many decades, boats from large Ukrainian cities located on the Dnipro River docked here.
Річковий вокзал знаходиться в самому центрі Києва. Його було побудовано в 1960 році і протягом багатьох десятиліть сюди причалювали катери з великих українських міст, які розташовані на річці Дніпро.
In the late 1980s, river passenger traffic could no longer compete with the railway, and therefore the river routes were closed. The river station served only tourist flights and received pleasure boats of Kyiv.
В кінці 1980-х річкове пасажирське сполучення вже не витримувало конкуренцію із залізницею, і тому річкові маршрути було зачинино. Річковий вокзал обслуговував лише туристичні рейси та приймав прогулянкові катери Києва.
Since 2016, the station area of the river station has undergone a major reconstruction. It was transformed into a cozy tourist center of Kyiv, which connected all pedestrian routes along the Dnipro river embankment.
З 2016 року привокзальна площа річкового вокзалу зазнала великої реконструкції. Її було перетворено на затишний туристичний осередок Києва, який з'єднав усі пішоходні маршрути набережної річки Дніпро.
Before the war, at this time of the morning you could see here many tourists who came to the water to rest from the heat. Today, as you can see, this square is empty.
До війни, в цей ранковий час ви могли побачити тут безліч туристів, які приходили до води відпочити від спеки. Сьогодні, як бачите, ця площа пустує.
In the middle of the square, only children play alone - a symbolic metal sculpture of a carefree childhood, which in the conditions of a terrible reality acquires incredible symbolism.
Посеред площі лише одиноко бавляться діти - символічна металева скульптура безтурботного дитинства, яка в умовах страшної реальності набуває неймовірного символізму.
I dream that the war will end soon, and this square will be filled with real children's voices and the happy smiles of their parents, and the guests of the capital will find here a cozy company with the main symbol of Ukraine - the Dnipro River.
Я мрію, щоб війна скоріше зкінчилася, і цю площу заполонили справжні дитячі голоси та щасливі усмішки їхніх батьків, а гості столиці знайшли тут затишну компанію з головним символом України - річкою Дніпро.
After the war, I sincerely invite you to visit Kyiv. This ancient city will gladly welcome you and envelop you in its beauty.
