Ще тиждень тому писав про красивий огірковий цвіт та першу зав'язь, як пройшли рясні дощики і огірки на городі почали рости швидше ніж гриби. Цей "монстр" у руці - сорт "китайське диво". Дивина в тому, що огірки всі такі покручені. На соління таке не годиться, але вони дуже смачні їсти свіжими.

Але маємо і традиційні сорти огірків, якими дуже швидко наповнилась вся кухня. Процес соління на зиму пішов повним ходом, тільки встигай підставляти банки та заливати сироп.

Загалом маємо три сорти огірків. Два з них плетуться по землі традиційним способом, а один по вертикально натягнутій сітці.
