离开白沙国家公园后，我们直接往北开到了新墨西哥的首府圣非。圣非（Santa Fe）来自于西班牙语，意思是“神圣的信仰”。 陶斯和圣非的建筑都非常有特色，是西班牙风格的adobe ，是一种印第安多层泥砖建筑。据说圣非为了保留建筑特色，规定所有新建筑都必须采用这种泥砖和泥墙草的结构。很多现代的建筑都在外表重新搭上了木头加上了泥墙草。
陶斯是个文化非常多元的小镇，这里糅合了印第安土著文化，墨西哥，西班牙文化和现代的美国文化。我们去了一个印第安土著的小村庄(Pueblo)，里面的adobe是真正的历史遗留，结构非常特殊，通通没有窗户，层与层直接是错开的，据说当年就是靠pueblo的特殊结构来为了抵御西班牙人的入侵。
新墨西哥除了有震撼的白沙公园和迷人的小镇外，印象最深刻的就是吃了。这个州非常爱吃辣，所以我基本爱这里的所有食物！随便走进家餐厅都非常好吃，爱吃辣的小伙伴可以尽情吃。不过这俩小镇的生活都相当悠闲，我们周五下午到的陶斯，3点一看yelp，大部分餐厅都关门了。所以大家提前查好时间哦！
After the visit of the White sands National Monument, we drove up to Sante Fe and Taos. The two towns are all about their unique building- adobe which is a kind of Indian building constructed from bricks and clay. We then went to a pueblo in Taos. Learned a lot about the history about this mysterious and charming town.
What I also love about New Mexico is their food! It's not really Mexican. I love every restaurant I ate in there and what impressed me the most is roasted chiles. If you are brave enough, try the hot ones and I bet you'll never forget.
