I use some of my delegations to help new people on Hive so they can post and comment on their first month with out running out of RC's. Your first month on Hive is the most important to be able to make comments and post. How else do you get to know anyone here?

I also delegate to friends' projects, and also when friends ask me to help someone they found that just needs a helping hand to get off on a good start.

I try hard to do good when I delegate. Help those that look like they will be staying for a while. But I also keep my eye on my delegations and if I see they are not needed I move them to where they are.

I have not done the RC delegation yet, but I know my son has started to. Speaking of which, he was going to do some calculations on how much is needed for a new person to be able to post and comment.... Thanks for reminding me :D
